Laura is a natural-born creative with international training and experience. Originally from Brazil, Laura came to NZ in 2005 to further her career in hotel management. It was while working at Trinity Wharf hotel she met Lillybeth who would often come in to do wedding makeup for guests.
After Laura herself trained as a makeup artist, gaining an International Diploma in Makeup Art Technology, she decided to add bridal hairstyling to her list of creative talents. Returning to Brazil in 2012, Laura studied bridal hairstyling (up-do’s), and completed her full hairdressing training in 2014. She then invested in several advanced specialised courses in cutting, coloring, highlighting and styling!
Brazilian women typically are more ‘made up’ than Kiwi’s, so Laura is used to working to a very high standard. She has a home-based salon in Papamoa which is a great spot for your hair trial-run. See some of her hairstyling below:
